ARIES – The Sun Sign Is Only the Lantern at the Surface

March 21 – April 19th

Was that a speeding bullet, a fire-bomb, or a rocket? No, of
course not, that was just your average ARIES moving his normal
speed which just happens to be twice that of ordinary mortals.
Aries need to be the best at whatever they do, and if it doesn’t
happen easily, they can kill themselves trying. The fact that
they can’t sit still, puts them in the running for a “Speedy
Gonzales” contest. Aries I have known occupy a special place in
my heart for their unlimited enthusiasm. It’s hard not to be
bowled over with their infectious smiles and super confidence
that this time, they will make it big. Of course you know that
more ARIES have spent time behind bars than any other sign.

ARIES often have a lean body, built for speed. Clint Eastwood is
the classic type. ARIES is ruled by the planet Mars, (I’ll give
you a hint: Mars was the mythical God of War), and has a terrible
temper. Their impulsive natures can be a help or a hindrance
depending on how evolved they are. Patience does not come easily
to anyone born under this sign. They intensely dislike routine
and are easily bored. On the contrary, they crave excitement.
One ARIES I knew wanted desperately to go to Africa to be a
mercenary!

You will often find them in professions that don’t have a nine to
five routine, such as the military, sales, and generally anything
that involves “speed”. They can also be excellent leaders if
they don’t let their egos get in the way. Some notable ARIES
include; Leonard Nimoy, Michael York, Margaret Wild, Martin Short, Eddie
Murphy, Marlon Brando, James Woods, and David Letterman.

The females of this sign are just as competitive. Some notable
examples of successful ARIES women are; Diana Ross and Bette
Davis. No-one has ever accused them of being shrinking violets!
In fact, if you get two ARIES together, they will almost always
compete with one another. A male ARIES loves to be the boss and
a female ARIES loves to be in control. Women born under this
sign like men who are controllers, but they HATE to be controlled
themselves. They also have no respect for men who are seen to
buckle under to authority. This can often create an interesting
dilemma.

Every Astrological sign has dominance over a part of the body.
Aries rules the head. This means that if you are an ARIES, then
you have probably suffered your share of blows to the head,
accidental or otherwise. In fact, most ARIES have at least one
scar on their head. Many young ARIES can be seen driving their
trikes with helmets on. Remember that this is the sign of the
“Ram” and as such is an excellent symbol of “butting heads”.
